In real life, people are often labelled by others, usually bullies and, since it's an everyday occurence, you're likely to believe it. The radio frequency is a method of brainwashing, and one of the most important parts of brainwashing that I did not mention in my last post but will mention here because is relevancy, is repetition. I've already stated (and will state once more) about how the Outlast games are connected by the Murkoff Corporation testing out radio frequencies on owls to humans, aka, the cult and heretics, which result in homicidal tendencies for the former and lustful appetite for the latter. Remember when I talked about beliefs and brainwashing as well as the basics of science experimentd when talking about Ethan's immunity to the radio frequencies? Well the same applies here. What is unexplainable is, if this is true, then how on earth did Blake and Knoth see the baby?Īnd that's where this post comes in handy.
Lynn says thay there's nothing there, he umbilical cord is already cut, and there is no shadow of the baby's (of course, that might be a glitch as well). I actually agree with the ones who state that there is no baby due to supporting evidence. On the contrary, both Blake and Sullivan Knoth can see the baby, so what does this mean? Lynn herself, on the verge of death, states that "there's nothing there", which could mean that there is no afterlife, or that there is no baby. Another thing to note is that, when Lynn gives birth, the baby's umbilical cord is already cut. This is because our protagonist states that they haven't "done it" for months, as well as the Lynn gave in just one night (though some have argued that the game actually took 9 months, but that is counter argued that the area is unhygienic and it is difficult to find food and clean water). Gamers have asking, arguing and pondering over the fact whethet Lynn's baby is real or not. (Read this and this for a better understanding because I am not repeating it again for a better summary.). In the game, we play as cameraman Blake who is stranded in the middle of nowhere with a crazy cult and pagan cult that wants to kill yout wife, Lynn, because they think that she has a baby. In order to understand this, you should read this one first for a better explanation of beliefs and brainwashing.
It's the moment we've all been waiting for.
